Hi! My latest work experience was with View Imaging, a dynamic, boutique ad agency that elevates brands from "ho-hum" to "Whoa—yum!" But all silly wordplay aside, my position as Senior Copywriter at this marketing firm gave me an invaluable experience, teaching me how to craft winning content for big brands like Sephora. Download Sephora's Beauty Insider app or look at their official website, and you'll see the kind of content I worked on. Additionally, I concepted, wrote, and edited copy for the likes of CHANEL, Microsoft, and Dominion Energy—to name just a few. I also collaborated with the team to bolster up our internal marketing efforts on the View Imaging website. All in all, I loved working with the folks at View Imaging, and I miss them a lot. Now, I'm seeking a new remote Senior Copywriter role, and I look forward to finding my next professional home.

Morgan & Morgan

My next work experience was with an impressive, national brand known as Morgan & Morgan, America's Largest Injury Law Firm. I proved once again my versatility as a writer by jumping into an industry I knew nothing about. In the past, I've written for a vast array of industries, but now, it was law. What's exciting about that? Well, as it turns out, a lot.

Under the tutelage of Carlos Wigle, my team and I sought to make Morgan & Morgan the Geico of law firms. We got closer to our goal, challenging the status quo of boring INJURED? ads and shaping the Morgan & Morgan brand into something that resonated with potential clients on a gut level. And, by partnering up with the UFC, Barstool Sports, and Monster Jam, we crafted killer content that stood out from the noise.

I got shouted out in our firm-wide newsletter out of thousands of potential nominees!

TV

Creative Head Carlos Wigle and I concepted and scripted these little nuggets of gold.

Social Video

We entered the Metaverse with this social spot. On Instagram, it garnered 12K Likes, 1.5K Comments, and tens of thousands of Views.

Times Square Billboard

I was lucky enough that a Senior Creative Director chose me to concept on this piece (on left) for New York's Times Square.

jawn

noun

  1. (chiefly in eastern Pennsylvania) used to refer to a thing, place, person, or event that one need not or cannot give a specific name to.

Imagine you're a fly on the wall in our creative meeting...

Me: Hey, I have an idea. Let's use local slang to reach potential clients.

The rest of world:

Article upon article upon article talking about our new billboards.

Reddit threads, Twitter buzz, and TikTok videos.

The Internet went deep. Real deep. People created new accounts called Jawn Morgan and a tattoo artist even created F*ck Jawn Morgan stickers.

Mission accomplished. John Morgan was happy with the result. As he put it, "At least people are talking about us." I'm proud this campaign got famous, and even prouder of my team for coming up with it.

I became a resource across departments around the Brooklyn marketing office, at which point the guys at Morgan & Morgan's swanky tech startup, injury.com, asked me to draft and edit their website copy. I completed the copy assignment the very same day they asked me for it.

On and on it goes

This work experience was so valuable for me. It not only challenged my writing skills — it allowed me to write in many mediums I'd never touched before, like TV, OOH, video / scripts, and general concepting and deck creation. I'm so proud of my team and what we accomplished during my time at Morgan & Morgan.

Not listed here is just an endless amount of social media posts, radio scripts, concept decks, memes, stunt ideas, web articles, contest websites and other landing pages, and an entire magazine I drafted that hasn't been published yet. I wrote so much at Morgan & Morgan, it's crazy! I'll be happy to share my experience as specifically as possible. Just ask and I'll walk you through it.
