Radio Spots

Erlanger Health system had recently partnered up with ZocDoc to launch a new online booking platform. But we needed to get the word out. So I wrote these 0:10 spots that were aired in Chattanoga to promote the new program. Here's the radio script copy that's highlighted above:
"Need to book a doctor's appointment but can't make a call at work? Book online anytime at ErlangerDocs dot org. That's Erlanger D-O-C-S dot org."
In writing these, I focused on one of the core problems the ZocDoc platform solves: Having to schedule a doctor's appointment by phone. Nobody enjoys calling the doctor's office to have a nasally, frustrated voice reluctantly schedule you to be seen for your sickness. So I made the copy follow a problem-solution structure.
But instead of focusing on the often-dreaded experience of calling the doctor's office and making the Erlanger brand sound negative, I targeted another relevant problem that ZocDoc solves: Needing to schedule an appointment if you're a working adult and don't have time to do it during office hours. The highlighted copy above was the result.
Blogging/Article Writing

Jack Skowronnek is a teenage entrepreneur who, with the help of his mom, held an annual event to raise awareness and money for the treatment of childhood cancer. Partnered with Erlanger, I interviewed the boy and his mother personally, then wrote this blog article to help promote Jack's next event.
Tagline Copy

Healthy U, Erlanger Health System's blog, provides people with accurate information that can help them lead healthier lives. I wrote the tagline for the blog: "Healthy Insights from World-Class Experts." This tagline explains what readers get out of the blog ("Healthy Insights"), and why they can trust the information (it's coming "from World-Class Experts.") I chose the specific word, "World-Class," because it's an expression that's already woven into the existing brand tone, and I wanted to stay consistent with that.
